Well, that just about wraps up(!) a fantastic year at Ceroc Vancouver. Thanks to everyone who joined us on the dance floor in 2011 - whether it was for 1 night or 100 nights! We still have a few goodies to squeeze in before we take a break for the festive season. [Quick reminder here: We're not open Friday 11th November due to the big Remembrance Day event at the Billy].

Our last 2 Cerocshops for this session are Leans & Lifts (Nov. 20th) and Dips & Drops (Dec. 4th). Both workshops are designed with freestyle in mind, including fun moves that are easy to lead but add a huge WOW factor to your dancing. Go on, treat yourself!

The final Bring Friends For Free night is Thursday November 17th at the Cambrian - paying members can bring their non-member friends for free.

And last, but not least, our annual big Christmas Bash is on Friday December 9th at the Billy Bishop. Wear something red or white or sparkly (or all 3!) and join us on the dance floor for a festive Ceroc lesson, an energetic Zumba lesson with Maggie, and some party games with presents under the tree.

Fall events

After a frantic summer of crowded Ceroc nights and fabulous Dance Team performances, we’re looking forward to even greater madness on the dance floor this Fall. We have a whole new session of Cerocshops on offer, from beginner basics up to leans & lifts and dips & drops. These can be booked online or at regular Ceroc nights. We also have 4 events taking place before all the leaves have fallen from the trees. Our very special, dress-to-impress Fall Ball is on Friday Sept. 30th with beginner level lessons all night and gorgeous, sumptuous cupcakes from the lovely Julie So. Then we have our next BFFF night on Friday Oct. 14th where every Ceroc member can bring their friends (ALL their friends!) for free. After that we transform the Billy Bishop into Hogwarts School for a Harry Potter Halloween party on Friday Oct. 28th. Costumes are highly encouraged! Lastly, as if that wasn’t enough fun, Thrill The World is scheduled for Sat. Oct. 29th. Ceroc is proud to sponsor this fantastic annual event that features Michael Jackson, zombies & Food Bank donations. A thrilling combination!

A huge thank you to everyone who came to the Ceroc Canada 5th Birthday Party and made it a HUGE success. We're looking forward to the next 5 years already!! (Don't forget to check out the photos here and on Facebook). Summer is rapidly approaching, despite the dismal weather, and that can only mean one, very exciting, thing --- Dance Team! Woo hoo. Every year we actively encourage Ceroc members of all abilities to take part in our summer performances at the PNE and Kits Showboat. Team practises are a great way to improve your dance skills very quickly and at no cost. Email Kerry (ac.corec@yrrek) for more details or simply to sign up. Practising will begin in earnest very soon. Regular Ceroc nights continue throughout the summer, with the exception of Canada Day, Friday 1st July. Our next Bring Friends For Free night is Friday June 10th - Ceroc members can bring any number of non-members along for free. Sweeeeeeeet!
