Fresh Fridays

At the Billy Bishop in Kitsilano

Join us for drop-in dance lessons every Friday in Kitsilano. No need to sign up for a course, just turn up at the door! The last Friday of every month is "Freestyle Frenzy" where only one 45 min class is taught at 8pm, followed by a whole night of freestyling, dance practise, and socializing.

Doors open 7:30pm

Existing Members: Swipe in with your membership card and pay $12 (cash or cheque) or buy our unlimited monthly pass for only $50.
New Arrivals: Complete the membership application form and pay the $5 lifetime membership fee. Then swipe in with your membership card and pay $12 (cash or cheque).

The bar is open downstairs, so grab yourself a drink before the fun starts. There's also a $10 roast beef dinner with alllll the trimmings available from 6:30 pm onwards. Our tip: get your dinner token before they're sold out!

First Freestyle/Dance Practise 7:30pm

The DJ starts the evening off with 30 mins of dance music. This is your chance to practice the Ceroc moves you have learned during the week and to meet Ceroc dancers from other venues! Grab a Taxi Dancer if you need some help "warming up".

Fun Classes

At 8pm, 9pm and 10pm, there are fun, 20 - 30 minute classes.
8pm - Beginner
9pm - Easy Intermediate
10pm - Intermediate to "Easy Advanced"!!
You will meet everyone in the class as you swap partners every few minutes.

Freestyles/Dance Practises

After each class there is a freestyle session of 30 - 40 minutes of pure uninterrupted dance, run by our fabulous DJs. This is a great chance to try out your newly acquired skills. Why not ask one of the Crew members to dance?! It is perfectly acceptable, and positively encouraged, for ladies to ask men to dance, so just go for it.

Apres Dance Socialising 11:00pm

After we're all danced out, join us in the downstairs bar for a drink, some lively conversation and, possibly, a singsong around the piano! We kid you not.
