Which one is right for you?

Beginners

No experience necessary. This Cerocshop covers Ceroc basics, 8-9 beginners moves, how to link moves, turning & spinning, freestyle techniques. This Cerocshop gives you the equivalent experience of about 4 classes.

Classics

Designed for Ceroc members who have completed several weeks of classes, or for those who have attended other intermediate Cerocshops. 'Classic' Ceroc moves are those key moves taught periodically at regular Ceroc nights. Some of these moves build on beginner moves, some are unique, all are indispensable for the intermediate Ceroc dancer.

Tango Style

Incorporate some Latin passion and fancy footwork into your Ceroc repertoire. These moves will teach you about balance & posture, rhythms (single and double-time), connection, leading and following techniques, musicality, and styling.

"The Drop Zone"

Take your Ceroc dancing to the next level by incorporating some simple dips and drops into your freestyle. Safe technique, appropriate signals, and super styling are all covered in this workshop. A perfect selection of intermediate/advanced moves for Cerocers who just want to show off on the dance floor.

Blues - Up Close & Personal

Ceroc dancing is extremely versatile. Including close moves into your repertoire broadens your style and enables you to dance with sensitivity to the slower music available. This Cerocshop will introduce you to the smooth style of blues dancing, covering footwork, close positions, weight distribution, musical interpretation, and improvisation.

Summer School

The Ceroc Summer School Intensive takes you from 'Zero to Hero' in 4 weeks! Held every Sunday afternoon in June, this series of workshops covers the basics of partner dancing up to performance moves and styling. Cost for the whole program is $100. Graduates receive a a free beginner DVD and are welcome to "try out" for the Ceroc Dance Team.

Dance Team Routine

Learn a brand new choreographed dance routine plus performance styling. This workshop will vastly improve your dance craft, whether you choose to participate in the summer dance team or not!

Easy Intermediate A & B

These workshops are designed for Ceroc members who have completed at least 6 weeks of beginner classes, or for those who have attended both the Beginner A & B Cerocshops. In order to gain the most from these Easy Intermediate workshops, attendees must feel comfortable with all 19 beginner moves.

12 'easy intermediate' moves will be covered at each Cerocshop in the style of 3 different routines. The moves taught will build on knowledge of the beginner moves. Easy style tips for both men and ladies will also be introduced.

Each Cerocshop consists of 12 different moves so it does not matter which order you attend them in i.e. you could do the Easy Intermediate B before you do the Easy Intermediate A.

Left-handed moves

Looking for some cool intermediate moves to add to your Ceroc repertoire? 12 fantastic moves, all starting with a left-handed lead, packaged into 3 awesome routines.

Right-handed moves

Looking for some more cool intermediate moves to add to your Ceroc repertoire? 12 fantastic moves, all starting with a right-handed lead, packaged into 3 excellent routines.

Double-handed moves

Looking for some super cool intermediate moves to add to your Ceroc repertoire? 12 fantastic moves, all starting with a double-handed lead, packaged into 3 wicked routines.

Take The Lead

Ever run out of ideas for moves halfway through a song? Wish you could do all the cool stuff your partner is doing? Want to really shake up your dancing? This is the Cerocshop for you. Learn how to swap leads with your partner during freestyle and really experience how the 'other half' lives.

Kiwi Dips 'n Drops

Take your Ceroc dancing to the next level by incorporating some simple dips and drops into your freestyle. Safe technique, appropriate signals, and super styling are all covered in this workshop. Moves from Down Under have never looked so good!

Double Trouble

What man doesn't want to handle two ladies at the same time? This workshop shows you how to do just that, in time to music!

Latin Style

Think Ceroc has no complicated footwork? We told a little white lie. Learn to add some stylish footwork back into your Ceroc moves to give them a fabulous Latin flare.

Hot 'n Steamy

Get hot under the collar dancing some extremely close moves with a partner of your choice(!). This workshop consists of lots of touching and much laughter.

Lifts and Leans

"Thrills, without the spills!!". A selection of intermediate/advanced moves for Ceroc-ers who just want to show off on the dance floor. Will include mini-aerials i.e. both of the lady's feet are off the ground for a short period of time. The emphasis will be on technique, style and safety.

Fancy Footwork

There's no fancy footwork in Ceroc...up to a point! Challenge yourself and add a variety of kicks, steps and walks to your dancing.

Slink & Kink

Think Ceroc meets Pussycat Dolls dance lessons!! Bring some 'tude because you're gonna get down and dirty on the dancefloor. Fixed partner workshop (for obvious reasons).
