You won't feel like a beginner dancer for long
Going to your first dance lesson as a total beginner can be intimidating. We understand this. Maybe you're worried about having nobody to dance with. Maybe you think you're too clumsy to be a dancer. Fear not! The format of a Ceroc night makes beginners feel right at home on the dance floor.
First of all, Ceroc is an easy dance to learn. Really! There's no complicated footwork, no special rhythms, and we dance to the simple beats of pop music.
Secondly, you will not be alone as a new member, as there are always a few absolute beginners at any given Ceroc night.
Thirdly, partners are rotated every minute or two in a Ceroc lesson. Whether or not you've come alone, you'll get the opportunity to dance and chat with everyone in the room -- other beginners and more experienced dancers. Not only does this keep the evening very social, but it actually helps speed up your learning!
Lastly, there's a whole gang of friendly Ceroc Crew who are there to help you figure this whole dance thing out. Not only are the teachers very approachable, but we have Taxi Dancers whose job it is to rotate in through the lessons to give you some one-on-one attention. They're also more than willing to dance with you during the freestyle! Ask them to dance, and before you know it, you'll have forgotten why dancing was so intimidating in the first place.
