Where you can learn to dance in one night, no experience necessary!
Ceroc (pronounced sir-rock) is the only place in Vancouver to learn modern jive, a fun-filled fusion of jive, tango, ballroom, swing, and salsa dancing. Ceroc/modern jive is also the only partner dance with no complicated beginner footwork!
We offer dance classes across Vancouver, with drop-in dance nights in Kitsilano every Friday and on Main Street every Thursday, plus more intensive dance workshops downtown and at other select studios on weekends. Lifetime membership is $5, a dance night is $12 or save money with our $50 monthly pass.
Our next Ceroc night is listed on our calendar. Ceroc venues worldwide have been introducing people to the world of partner dancing for over 20 years. We look forward to seeing you at one of our dance nights.
What's New @ Ceroc Vancouver
Springing into action!

We have so much planned for Ceroc over the next couple of months, it's like a cherry tree crammed with beautiful blossoms!! Cerocshops are ongoing and we have a bit of something for everyone: Moves Made Magic on April 22nd for beginner/easy intermediate, plus Mini-Aerials (May 13th) and Ducks (May 27th) for intermediate dancers. They are filling up fast so book your space online or on the door at a Ceroc night. Our next Freestyle Frenzy half-price dance party is on April 27th and it's going to be a bit special. We will have a crew there filming a reality TV show for the Slice Network. So dress up, bring your friends, break out your best moves and dance like EVERYBODY'S watching! The next Bring Friends For Free night is May 18th and the following week (May 25th) will be Ceroc Vancouver's 6th Birthday Party! It's all go, you know. As if that wasn't enough, we are actively recruiting enthusiastic dancers for the 2012 Dance Team. Speak to one of the teachers or come to an info session on May 17th/18th. All abilities welcome!

Ceroc Vancouver got off to a great start in 2012 and we're only just out of the starting blocks! Our first big event of the year is our Mardi Gras Masked Ball on Friday Feb 24th. Costumes, beads & masks are all encouraged at this fun frenzy. If you can't drag your friends out for that one, then try our next Bring Friends For Free night on Thursday March 22nd. Ceroc members can bring in any number of non-members for free. Cerocshops will start in earnest in March and details will be posted soon. And it's never too early to start thinking about Dance Team......... ask a Ceroc teacher if you are interested/intrigued!

Well, that just about wraps up(!) a fantastic year at Ceroc Vancouver. Thanks to everyone who joined us on the dance floor in 2011 - whether it was for 1 night or 100 nights! We still have a few goodies to squeeze in before we take a break for the festive season. [Quick reminder here: We're not open Friday 11th November due to the big Remembrance Day event at the Billy].
Our last 2 Cerocshops for this session are Leans & Lifts (Nov. 20th) and Dips & Drops (Dec. 4th). Both workshops are designed with freestyle in mind, including fun moves that are easy to lead but add a huge WOW factor to your dancing. Go on, treat yourself!
The final Bring Friends For Free night is Thursday November 17th at the Cambrian - paying members can bring their non-member friends for free.
And last, but not least, our annual big Christmas Bash is on Friday December 9th at the Billy Bishop. Wear something red or white or sparkly (or all 3!) and join us on the dance floor for a festive Ceroc lesson, an energetic Zumba lesson with Maggie, and some party games with presents under the tree.
